Admissions

Entrance Requirements

For admission to the BS in Wildlife Ecology from high school requires the units listed below,  in addition to the general requirements of the University and those of the College of Natural Sciences, Forestry, and Agriculture.  Also the student must be in the top 25% of their high school class or have SAT verbal + math scores = 1100+.

  • 4 units of English:
  • 3 units of math (including math in the senior year):
  • and at least 2 units of lab science

For transfer students, a 2.5 GPA and completion of English Composition, Biology of Organisms (BIO 100 and BIO 200), and Pre-calculus are required for admission.

The Chairperson of the Department will provide advice on course selection and information on the program.  Just call the Department office to make an appointment.
